Ramath-lehi
"In the darkest chamber, locked in the deepest corner in each and every one of our minds is a creature of no name or colour... but its blood is that of the Earth's most resilient predators - lithe felines, savage canines, and lilts of the raptor breeds as well. Until today, these apparitions had no true form, no colour, no name. But one mortal has assigned these to the breed, given them the brand of pendragon.
They are the epitome of our planet's carnivore chain, and yet... they live in a dream-world millions of light-years away and millennia in the future. They rule without the scars of humanity, with tooth and iron claw, in a world apart; a world known as Ramath-lehi."
Ramath-lehi is a play-by-post message board based roleplaying community. Roleplaying meaning that you "assume" or "act out" a particular role of the character of your choice. It is a game, but the only way to actually be a winner is to have fun with what you're doing.
Ramath-lehi is wedged tightly between two genres, futuristic and fantasy. Futuristic because it takes place after the "destruction" of what we know of as Earth and on a completely different planet as well. The pendragons having carefully documented the rise and fall of our populated world. The fantasy element the ties in is present in the form of magic which draws itself from what the pendragons know as the spirit world or as it is more formally known, Fronima.
The dominant species that inhabits Ramath-lehi are known as pendragons. Their name originates from the fact that they believe they are direct ancestors of dragons that had fallen into the working hands of evolution. The dragon qualities are still visible. Specially in the eyes which still burn with the dragon's ardent fire. A pendragon's overall build looks like an odd cross between what we know as a wolf and feline. It holds in it the power of the wolf, but the grace and agility of a cat... not to mention the claws. Upon further inspection of the fur, one would find out that it isn't fur at all, but appears to be small, more streamlined version of scales. Pendragons arrive in all colours in the visible light spectrum. Bursting forth from a laid egg with an attack of flame, often associating themselves with a specific element or even an emotion.
